Testing the drinking-water quality of private domestic water systems

The quality of our drinking water is strictly controlled under the Drinking Water Ordinance. However, this control does not include the private drinking-water system, as it ends at the household connection. Hazards that occur within a home's drinking-water system are therefore often not detected. 

Medivere complete drinking-water analysis checks 8 contaminating organisms, including: Legionella, Escherichia coli, coliform bacteria, enterococci, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Clostridium perfringens, colony count at 22°C and colony count at 36°C. In addition, it provides information on the heavy and light metals aluminium, arsenic, lead, calcium, cadmium, chromium, iron, potassium, copper, magnesium, manganese, sodium, nickel, antimony, zinc, nitrite, nitrate, phosphorus, sulphate and water hardness.

How does the ordering process work?

After your order, the desired test package will be sent to you with detailed instructions. You place your sample in a sample container, send it in a prepared envelope to Medivere's partner laboratory GANZIMMUN Diagnostics GmbH and receive a report with the assessment of your profile after 5–7 days.
