Drinking water analysis for infants and babies – Premium

Only for Germany and Austria

  • We would like to point out that these tests and the shipping processes are optimized for Germany and Austria and are prepaid.
  • Samples must be delivered to the German laboratory within 4 days. This cannot be guaranteed for samples shipped from other countries!
  • Orders from countries other than Germany and Austria are therefore at your own risk. In this case, we only accept the payment method "Prepayment (directly to us)", as customers cannot then cancel the purchase, e.g., because the sample arrived at the laboratory unusable through their own fault. Purchases made with any other payment methods that customers could unlawfully reverse will be immediately canceled and refunded.
  • You can find more information about this from the manufacturer!

Drinking water analysis for 18 heavy and light metals as well as nitrate, nitrite, phosphorus, sulphate and microbes

The Drinking Water Ordinance (TrinkwV) and the Mineral and Table Water Ordinance (Min/TafelWV) set maximum limits for substances hazardous to health and thereby establish clear quality standards, whereby tap water is also suitable for preparing baby food and for their hygiene. However, contamination of the water often only occurs after it has passed the service connection, since depending on the pipe material this can lead to chemical reactions with the release of metal ions into the drinking water. Pipes in older buildings may contain mainly copper or even lead. Chromium and nickel can be released into the water from fittings.

Drinking water from well systems can contain various metals and compounds such as sulphate, nitrite, nitrate or phosphate (phosphorus) and pose health risks. Increasing urbanisation, industrialisation and agriculture as well as domestic and industrial wastewater (e.g. sewage sludge) are other significant sources of contamination. Natural geological processes can also affect groundwater.

Bacteria also feel perfectly at home in our drinking water. Although they are not visible to the naked eye, they nevertheless pose a significant risk to our health. The contaminant germ Escheria coli can lead to acute gastrointestinal illnesses, which manifest as diarrhoea, cramps or vomiting. Above all, the immature immune system and the still-growing bodies of infants and babies can, in the worst case, suffer long-term damage.

State-of-the-art laboratory analyses provide the quickest certainty as to whether the water is contaminated with heavy or light metals or pathogens that indicate a potential health hazard. The detailed report shows a comprehensive listing of the individual test parameters and their risks. Any exceedance of limit values is clearly indicated graphically.

The test kit includes:

  • 1 sampling guide
  • 1 result retrieval guide
  • 1 sample submission form
  • 1 guarantee certificate
  • 2 sample tubes
  • 1 shipping envelope

How does the ordering process work?

After your order we will send you the requested test package with detailed instructions. You put the water sample into a tube, send it in the provided envelope to our partner laboratory GANZIMMUN Diagnostics GmbH and receive the test result after approx. 14 working days.

Please note that this drinking water analysis is only suitable for one tap. Samples cannot be taken from multiple taps!

Legal notice: The collection of all samples is carried out by the client. This drinking water analysis is an indicative examination which is not performed on the basis of the current Drinking Water Ordinance. Official or judicial recognition of the examination results is excluded.

Please note:

Unfortunately it is not possible to carry out analyses on contaminated water that is cloudy, discoloured or contains undissolved particles (well or pond water).

In order to provide you with accurate and reliable results, the laboratory requires water samples to be in a condition that meets the standards for drinking water (tap water). If you nevertheless send contaminated water, the laboratory reserves the right not to carry out the analysis and cannot reimburse any costs.

Achieve better results with sensible diagnostics!

Around 50% of our customers are referred to us by their therapist and know exactly what they need. Many more have extensive therapeutic knowledge, but many also buy on a hunch ("just in case") without really knowing the details. For these customers it would make a lot of sense to first determine their exact needs or any deficiencies. Customers who buy a test from us are offered a short health consultation with a nutritionist, during which it is clarified which product would be best for them.
In addition, they receive a 10% voucher for their first purchase after they have received their test result. We are also happy to put them in touch with suitably qualified therapists with whom we are in contact. As a retailer we are only allowed to provide limited advice, even though we would be qualified to do so. This is regulated by law because of the conflict of interest between sales and therapy; for example, doctors are not allowed to sell medicines or vitamins.
