For the assessment of intestinal flora development in the breastfed infant
The intestinal flora plays an outstanding role for the well-being and health of infants and young children. Microbial colonisation not only influences the immunological development of the child; during the first 12 months the intestinal flora is also particularly sensitive, which can affect the establishment of a stable microecological environment.
The stimulation of NK cell and macrophage activity on the one hand, and the promotion of sIgA synthesis on the other, are ensured by the diverse immunogenic properties of various gut-typical microbial species. Of particular importance is the immune-homeostatic effect, which is ultimately essential for a balanced TH1/TH2 equilibrium as well as for the establishment and maintenance of oral tolerance. This makes it clear that the intestinal flora constitutes a primary protective factor with regard to atopic risks in childhood.
Furthermore, in infants an allergic inflammation of the colonic and rectal mucosa can lead to intestinal bleeding in the area of the colon. Concerned parents may notice regular or occasional blood admixtures in the form of blood streaks or small amounts of blood when changing nappies.

Achieve better results with sensible diagnostics!
Around 50% of our customers are referred to us by their therapist and know exactly what they need. Many more have extensive therapeutic knowledge, but many also buy on a hunch ("just in case") without really knowing the details. For these customers it would make a lot of sense to first determine their exact needs or any deficiencies. Customers who buy a test from us are offered a short health consultation with a nutritionist, during which it is clarified which product would be best for them.
In addition, they receive a 10% voucher for their first purchase after they have received their test result. We are also happy to put them in touch with suitably qualified therapists with whom we are in contact. As a retailer we are only allowed to provide limited advice, even though we would be qualified to do so. This is regulated by law because of the conflict of interest between sales and therapy; for example, doctors are not allowed to sell medicines or vitamins.
