Laboratory analysis to diagnose histamine intolerance
Histamine is a biogenic amine which, as a tissue hormone and neurotransmitter, is involved in numerous processes within the body. In some cases, however, the body may be unable to break down histamine. This is usually caused by an enzyme deficiency. This excess histamine can then lead to a range of symptoms such as sleep disturbances, asthma, migraines or even skin conditions. To determine whether symptoms are actually due to histamine intolerance, the histamine concentration can be measured using a simple stool test.
The test kit includes:

How does the ordering process work?
Once you have placed your order, the test kit you have chosen will be sent to you along with detailed instructions. You place your sample in a sample container, send it in the provided envelope to Mediveres’ partner laboratory, GANZIMMUN Diagnostics GmbH, and will receive your results, including an assessment of your profile, within 5–7 days.

Around 50 % of our customers are sent to us by their therapist and know exactly what they need. Many others have extensive medical knowledge, but many also buy "on suspicion" without really knowing exactly what they need. Customers who buy a test from us are offered a short health consultation with a nutritionist to clarify what would be the best product for them.
In addition, they receive a 10% voucher for their first purchase after receiving their test result. And we are happy to put them in touch with the expert therapists with whom we are in contact. As a retailer, we are only allowed to provide limited information, even though we are qualified to do so. This is regulated by law because of the conflict of interest between sales and therapy, which is why doctors, for example, are not allowed to sell medicines or vitamins.
