In this case, we only accept the payment method "Prepayment (directly to us)", as customers cannot then cancel the purchase, e.g., because the sample arrived at the laboratory unusable through their own fault. Legionella drinking-water analysis

The quality of our drinking water is strictly monitored under the Drinking Water Ordinance. However, this control does not include the private drinking-water system, as it stops at the house connection. Hazards that occur within the household drinking-water system therefore often go unnoticed.

What are Legionella?

Legionella are bacteria that thrive in warm water and can cause lung infections known as Legionnaires' disease (legionellosis). They were named after an outbreak in Philadelphia in 1976. Legionella are primarily transmitted by inhaling contaminated water droplets and occur in building water systems and air-conditioning systems.
A low concentration of Legionella is harmless, but a high concentration can be extremely dangerous. The threshold is the "technical action value", which is 100 CFU* Legionella per 100 ml of drinking water.

How does the ordering process work?

After you place your order, the requested test package will be sent to you with detailed instructions. You put your sample into a sample container, send it in the prepared envelope to Medivere's partner laboratory GANZIMMUN Diagnostics GmbH and receive a report with an assessment of your profile after 5–7 days.
