Selenium + Zinc Blood Test

Only for Germany and Austria

  • We would like to point out that these tests and the shipping processes are optimized for Germany and Austria and are prepaid.
  • Samples must be delivered to the German laboratory within 4 days. This cannot be guaranteed for samples shipped from other countries!
  • Orders from countries other than Germany and Austria are therefore at your own risk. In this case, we only accept the payment method "Prepayment (directly to us)", as customers cannot then cancel the purchase, e.g., because the sample arrived at the laboratory unusable through their own fault. Purchases made with any other payment methods that customers could unlawfully reverse will be immediately canceled and refunded.
  • You can find more information about this from the manufacturer!

Laboratory chemical analysis to determine zinc and selenium concentrations from capillary blood

Zinc is one of the trace elements and is vital (essential). As a component of enzymes it is involved in many important processes in the body. As an activator of important enzymes, zinc also plays a significant role. For example, it is involved in lipid metabolism. It also influences the formation of thyroid and sex hormones, supports the normal function of the immune system and is regarded as an important antioxidant.

An adequate supply of zinc is therefore extremely important. Intake via dietary supplements should, however, be considered carefully, since an overdose can have negative effects on the absorption of other nutrients. Determining the current status is therefore very sensible.

Selenium is also a trace element and is a component of numerous enzymes. It plays an important role particularly in thyroid metabolism and in the formation of sperm. Selenium helps protect cells from oxidative stress and contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and nails. The problem with achieving an adequate selenium supply in Europe is that the soils are low in selenium. Since selenium is otherwise mainly taken up through animal foods, supplementation can also be sensible for vegetarians or vegans.

Whether and how much of the two trace elements should be supplied can be determined by assessing the current levels. The Selenium + Zinc blood test does this by measuring the concentration of the trace elements in capillary blood.

The test kit includes:

  • 1 instruction leaflet for sample collection
  • 2 lancets

Achieve better results with sensible diagnostics!

Around 50% of our customers are referred to us by their therapist and know exactly what they need. Many more have extensive therapeutic knowledge, but many also buy on a hunch ("just in case") without really knowing the details. For these customers it would make a lot of sense to first determine their exact needs or any deficiencies. Customers who buy a test from us are offered a short health consultation with a nutritionist, during which it is clarified which product would be best for them.
In addition, they receive a 10% voucher for their first purchase after they have received their test result. We are also happy to put them in touch with suitably qualified therapists with whom we are in contact. As a retailer we are only allowed to provide limited advice, even though we would be qualified to do so. This is regulated by law because of the conflict of interest between sales and therapy; for example, doctors are not allowed to sell medicines or vitamins.
