Laboratory chemical analysis to determine the concentration of the neurotransmitter serotonin in urine

Serotonin is a neurotransmitter – a chemical messenger that transmits information between our nerve cells. It is found in the nervous system, as well as in the gastrointestinal tract and in blood platelets. Serotonin has a wide range of functions, highlighting its importance for our well-being. For example, serotonin influences our mood, sleep, perception of pain and appetite. You place your sample in a sample container, send it in the provided envelope to Mediveres’ partner laboratory, GANZIMMUN Diagnostics GmbH, and will receive your results, including an assessment of your profile, within 5–7 days.
