5-HTP from Griffonia simplicifolia with P-5-P and magnesium
5-HTP is an amino acid that is an intermediate in the production of serotonin and melatonin. 5-HTP plus is naturally derived from the African black bean Griffonia simplicifolia and is therefore particularly rich. With P5P, the best form of vitamin B6, and magnesium.

Ingredients
magnesium citrate, Griffonia simplicifolia extract (contains 5-HTP), hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (capsule shell), medium-chain triglyceride powder (MCT) of coconut origin, pyridoxal-5-phosphate (active vitamin B6).
Recommended intake
Take 1 capsule in the morning or evening with a sufficient amount of liquid.
Manufacturer's warning
Do not take during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If taking medications at the same time (especially psychotropic drugs), always consult your treating physician. Contraindications: carcinoid syndrome, renal insufficiency.

5-HTP is a very potent substance. Taking large amounts can quickly cause nausea. Therefore, as a 'newcomer' you should definitely start with small amounts. 1 capsule is sufficient for most people; 50 mg is already a generous dose. Only take the manufacturer's suggested maximum of 2 capsules if well tolerated and if 1 capsule is not sufficient.
