What does WholeFood mean?

The nutrients in Natur Vital BoneAssist are of plant or organic origin. The plants encase the minerals in an organic package that our metabolism can open. This allows the nutrients to reach where they are needed, namely our cells. Vitamins and minerals of plant and organic origin are also better tolerated.

Modern formulation with vitamin K

The composition follows current knowledge on bone health. Ten years ago nutritionists and doctors would have recommended a lot of calcium and some vitamin D for the bones.
One consequence was, for example, a risk to the blood vessels, because a lot of calcium with little vitamin D and especially without vitamin K tends to deposit in the vessels, i.e. to lead to calcification.
Today people are advised to take more vitamin D than before, together with vitamin K2 for vascular protection, but not too much calcium.
Nevertheless, one should pay attention to a calcium-rich diet, such as cheese or, for vegans, sesame (in tahini) or broccoli. As the amount of calcium in Bone Assist is rather cautiously dosed, this would certainly be additionally helpful.

Boron – the little-known mineral

There are various opinions, studies and views on boron. As is unfortunately often the case in science, everyday life for scientists can be confusing for the general public: there are so many studies, opinions and researchers who demonstrate and assume the benefits of boron and consider it essential for life, just as there are some who claim the opposite.

Ingredients

Magnesium citrate, Lithothamnium calcareum (fossil red algae), hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (capsule shell), menaquinone-7 (Vit. K2), vegetable stearic acid (anti-caking agent), boric acid, cholecalciferol (Vit. D3).

Recommended use

Take 2 capsules before or with a meal.
