The Natur Vital Darmreinigungskomplex is a microbiotic food and consists of plant fibres and spices that absorb digestive residues and stimulate intestinal transit.
It also contains beneficial microorganisms to support the gut flora. This valuable combination unites plant power and the positive effects of selected florabiotic bacteria.

Various positive effects:

• Psyllium seeds which, when water is added, are notable for their very strong swelling and mucilaginous consistency. They have a positive effect both on constipation and on the opposite problem. Too firm is made smooth, too liquid is bound and swollen. Thus they not only increase intestinal bulk and contribute to satiety, but also cleanse the intestinal wall and stimulate its function.
• Konjac swells strongly and even has a health claim for weight reduction. For this, however, one would have to take 3 g daily; pure konjac capsules to increase the amount can be found in our product range.
• Alfalfa is a natural source of vitamin K2. In traditional Chinese medicine it has many effects, including on the gut. We do not want to list them all here to avoid trouble regarding the Health Claims Regulation. If we were to describe here all the effects of all the herbs contained in the Natur Vital Darmkomplex, this description would become very long!
• Fennel seeds many know from the tea people make for stomach and intestinal upset. The soothing and relieving effect need not be described in detail here; most people will be familiar with it.
• Raspberry leaves contain many tannins and are often used for stomach and intestinal problems. Many know this from black tea, which for many with severe gut upset is the only tolerable food. It is also often used as a pregnancy tea because it has an antispasmodic and relaxing effect on the uterus and can even induce labour. Therefore we do not recommend the tea for pregnant women who do not want this.
• Pectins such as apple pectin are water-soluble fibres and, in addition to the well-known benefits of fibre, have the lesser-known advantage of practically absorbing toxins and carrying them out, i.e. into the toilet.

Psyllium husk powder, glucomannan (from konjac root), hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (capsule shell), powder of: apple, alfalfa, cayenne fruit, apple pectin, buckthorn bark, barberry bark, burdock root, cascara bark, Mahonia berries, fennel seeds, cloves, lapacho bark, goldenseal root, fennel seeds, garlic; magnesium caprylate, rhubarb root extract (30:1), raspberry leaf extract (3:1), cascara bark extract (4:1), burdock root extract (4:1), Lactobacillus acidophilus cultures, barberry extract (10:1).

Recommended use

During an intestinal cleansing course (approx. 4 weeks) take 1 capsule daily before meals with a glass of water.

Pregnant women should only use this product after consultation with a doctor or midwife, as raspberry leaves can induce labour. This can be desirable, but usually is not.
