Multivitamins and Minerals for Children

Multivitamin fruit powder for children has the advantage that it is also accepted by children who are fussy about tablets and capsules, or can simply be stirred into food, e.g. into fruit yoghurt.
The amounts of vitamins and minerals are optimised for the needs of children. In addition, the powder form makes it easier for parents to adjust quantities optimally. Capsules are rigid, tablets can at best be divided; with powder parents can give their child exactly the number of milligrams they want.

Vitamins and minerals exist in different chemical forms and from different sources. Many children’s products contain harmful substances such as sweeteners or sugar. Multi-Kids from Natur Vital contains none of these.
It also makes a big difference whether these are taken in cheap, poorly bioavailable forms or as very high-quality compounds. Very cheap products from drugstores, supermarkets and unfortunately often even from pharmacies contain these substances yet are still often expensive — the industry thereby exploits parents’ lack of knowledge.
Multi-Kids from Natur Vital contains only the best ingredients. Examples include:

• Cheap vitamin B12 = cyanocobalamin (note that the word cyanide is already in the name …). Vitamin B12 from Natur Vital = the high-quality and expensive methylcobalamin
• Cheap folic acid = folate (which about 50% of people cannot utilise at all due to a metabolic peculiarity). The folic acid in Multi-Kids contains the best compound that everyone can absorb, as it is already present in a "body-compatible" form: 5-MTHF.
• Cheap calcium = calcium carbonate (the cheapest lime, very popular in cheap supplements). This powder contains the branded raw material MCH-Cal™ from New Zealand. That is hydroxyapatite, as it occurs in bone and can be incorporated directly by the body. The source is the bones of healthy New Zealand pasture-raised cattle. This branded raw material also contains collagen type I, which also occurs in bone. Thus, at first glance Multi-Kids does not contain much calcium with 150 mg per daily portion, but this is used very effectively, as studies prove (see below). That makes more sense — a small amount of calcium that immediately goes into the bones, rather than taking high-dose calcium, e.g. as calcium carbonate, which is not so well utilised and can also deposit in arteries as calcification!
• Vitamin K is important for this and is included here as the high-quality branded ingredient vitaMK7®. This not only ensures healthy blood clotting — which is important for quick wound closure if a child grazes a knee — but also prevents calcium from taking the wrong path into the arterial walls.
• Iron fumarate is well tolerated. Very sensitive people get stomach aches from cheap iron compounds. Iron fumarate does not cause such problems.
• Vitamin B6 is present in the best form, P5P (pyridoxal-5-phosphate).
• Inulin as a carrier and filler is important for nourishing healthy gut bacteria and is therefore prebiotic.
• Various fruit powders provide a pleasant taste, and of course also supply the beneficial vitamins, minerals and secondary plant compounds of those fruits.

B3), beta-carotene, vitamin K2 (VitaMK7), calcium D-pantothenate, manganese(II) gluconate, cholecalciferol (vit. D3), thiamine hydrochloride (vit. B1), riboflavin (vit. B2), pyridoxal-5-phosphate (vit. B6), 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (vit. B9), vitamin K1, potassium iodide, chromium picolinate, D-biotin, methylcobalamin (vit. B12).

Recommended intake

Children from 4 years: 2 measuring scoops, children from 10 years: 4 measuring scoops, three times a week, stirred into drinks or yoghurt. Measuring scoop is provided in the jar.
