Betaine and enzymes for the stomach
A protein-rich diet is part of many eating plans. But before you can benefit from the positive properties of proteins, they must be absorbed by the intestine. The digestive enzyme pepsin ensures that proteins are broken down into their smaller components, the amino acids, and can thus be more easily absorbed by the intestine.
