The expert formula for cellular protection!
The building blocks of life are our cells. They continuously regenerate, produce energy and defend against attacks. Aggressive molecules known as “free radicals” can damage these structures and impair their function. Consequences can include accelerated ageing processes and a weakening of the body’s natural defences.
Felix natura AntioxPure Pro addresses this precisely. The composition of trace elements, plant extracts and vitamins is designed to protect cells from oxidative stress and to contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system. AntioxPure Pro combines the proven antioxidants of vitamins C and E with specialised plant compounds such as astaxanthin, OPC and EGCG. Strengthening cellular resilience and promoting well‑being are possible with felix natura AntioxPure Pro.
How felix natura AntioxPure Pro helps your cells
Reactive oxygen species (ROS) are produced during normal metabolic processes and through external influences such as UV radiation or pollutants. These molecules, referred to as free radicals, can damage DNA, cell membranes and proteins.
The body defends itself with the help of antioxidant systems, which include both enzymatic mechanisms (such as superoxide dismutase) and non‑enzymatic substances (such as vitamin C and vitamin E). If defence mechanisms are insufficient, an excess of reactive oxygen species (ROS) leads to oxidative stress. This condition is associated with the development of numerous diseases, such as atherosclerosis or neurodegenerative processes.
To restore the balance, it can be helpful to provide targeted antioxidant micronutrients — especially when the burden is high or the diet is insufficient.
Vitamin C: Ascorbic acid acts as a radical scavenger in aqueous cellular compartments, while ascorbyl palmitate works in fat‑soluble structures such as cell membranes. This targeted distribution enables both forms to contribute to the neutralisation of free radicals in different cellular environments and thus support comprehensive antioxidant protection. It is also crucial for the regeneration of vitamin E. It restores the active, antioxidatively acting form of vitamin E.
Vitamin E: Extracted from sunflower. It is a fat‑soluble antioxidant that preserves cell membranes. It particularly protects the lipids contained therein from oxidative damage. Vitamin C can complement this protective function.
Zinc: As picolinate, known for its high bioavailability. Zinc is an indispensable component of the enzyme copper‑zinc superoxide dismutase (Cu/Zn‑SOD), which the body produces itself. This enzyme’s task is to neutralise superoxide radicals — a particular form of reactive oxygen species. The trace element also contributes to maintaining the structural stability of cell membranes, which is essential for the human body.
Selenium: Present in the form of a compound with methionine and thus well bioavailable. Selenium plays an essential role in the body, particularly as a component of certain antioxidant enzymes such as glutathione peroxidase. These enzymes help to neutralise reactive oxygen compounds and thereby make a significant contribution to protecting cells from oxidative stress.
Beta‑carotene and lycopene: They are carotenoids — naturally occurring plant pigments. Thanks to their antioxidant properties, they contribute to protecting cells from harmful free radicals that cause cellular damage.
Beta‑carotene also functions as a provitamin. The body converts it into vitamin A, but only as much as it needs. Thus, an overdose of vitamin A is not possible in the way it could be with pure retinol.
Astaxanthin: This carotenoid, obtained from the microalga Haematococcus pluvialis, has a distinctive molecular structure. Thanks to this structure, astaxanthin can be distributed throughout the outer shell of cells. This allows it to neutralise free radicals directly in every area of this cell envelope, providing comprehensive membrane protection.
Oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPC): This valuable plant compound from grape seed extract is known to neutralise free radicals. It can also enhance the antioxidant effect of vitamin C and improve its effectiveness in protecting cells.
Rosemary: The carnosol acid it contains has the ability to neutralise free radicals directly. There are also indications that rosemary extract can influence the natural production of antioxidant substances within cells.
Green tea: The extract contains epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). It can render free radicals harmless. Because these harmful molecules occur in different forms, it is essential to neutralise as broad a spectrum of free radicals as possible, not just a single compound. Studies also suggest that free radicals can affect cellular processes that are important for the normal functioning of cells (Khan, N., & Mukhtar, H. (2019). Tea Polyphenols in Promotion of Human Health.).
Artichoke: Cynarin is one of the components of the extract. This compound exhibits antioxidant properties. Scientific analyses indicate that these substances can also support liver cell function and their antioxidant activity. Mehta K et al. 2023: Effect of fruits of Moringa oleifera on the lipid profile of normal and hypercholesterolaemic rabbits).

High-quality formulations from the Netherlands
The products of podo medi are largely influenced by the naturopathic experience of its co-founder Wolfgang P. Schallmey. However, he has been retired since 2020, which is why the brand "Woscha" is becoming "natura felix". The tried-and-tested formulations will largely remain unchanged. What is changing significantly, besides the logo, is the packaging of many products. Thus there is an increasing switch from plastic to more environmentally friendly cardboard containers.
