The ingredients of NATURA FELIX Hyaluron Plus are selected so that they complement each other in their properties and can contribute to the maintenance of essential bodily functions.

As Haplex®Plus, hyaluronic acid is a natural component of many tissues, in particular the skin, connective tissue and the synovial fluid (joint lubricant). Hyaluronic acid is characterised by its ability to bind large amounts of water. We combine low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid (200 kDa), which due to its smaller molecular size is potentially able to reach deeper tissue layers, with high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid (1500 kDa), which primarily acts on superficial structures. Haplex®Plus is the result of microbial fermentation and offers consistently high quality and bioavailability.

Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), available as OptiMSM®, is an organic sulphur compound. Sulphur is an essential element that occurs in the human body in many compounds, including certain amino acids, the building blocks of proteins such as collagen and keratin. These proteins play a structurally important role for skin, hair, nails, connective tissue and cartilage. OptiMSM® is produced by a four-stage distillation process that ensures a purity of over 99% and the absence of contaminants.

As the central structural protein of hyaline cartilage, which lines joint surfaces and contributes to load-bearing elasticity and low-friction mobility of the joints, Collagen Type II plays a key role. It not only includes the collagen itself but also naturally contains other components relevant to cartilage metabolism, including chondroitin sulphate and small amounts of hyaluronic acid. These substances are essential elements of the extracellular matrix in joint cartilage and support the structural integrity and functionality of the tissue.

Vitamin C is required for the function of certain enzymes that convert proline and lysine in collagen. This chemical conversion is important so that the collagen molecules can assemble correctly and form stable fibres. Only in this way can the connective tissue maintain its load-bearing capacity and strength. If vitamin C is lacking, this process is impaired. The collagen is not formed properly or is formed incorrectly, making it unstable.

Synergy at the centre: NATURA FELIX Hyaluron Plus is based on the synergistic interaction of its ingredients. As an indispensable cofactor, vitamin C enables the formation of stable collagen in the body. Methylsulfonylmethane supplies organic sulphur, which is necessary for sulphur-containing amino acids that in turn play an essential role in the collagen structure. In addition, hyaluronic acid and Collagen Type II provide immediate structural elements for connective tissue and cartilage. A targeted nutrient supply is aimed for to maintain the normal function of joints and skin – through the coordinated action of the high-quality ingredients.

Mobilee - Not vegan, but highly effective

The branded product Mobilee is made from rooster combs. It contains approx. 75% hyaluronic acid, but also mucopolysaccharides and collagen.

Non-vegan hyaluronic acid has been shown in studies to be slightly more effective than vegan hyaluronic acid.
However, it is suspected that this effect is not due to the collagen itself, but because these products always also contain other additives such as glucosamine or collagens.
If that is the case, pure vegan hyaluronic acid would not be less effective than pure animal-derived hyaluronic acid. Rather, one would probably achieve the same effect at the same dose with a combination of vegan hyaluronic acid and vegan collagen or glucosamine.

Thus it is more a matter of personal or ethical preference. Non-vegans who also have no problem with a roast chicken can easily opt for Mobilee and thereby obtain a highly effective, low-dose hyaluronic acid. Vegans can in principle achieve the same with vegan products.

Nutritive properties

• Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system during and after intense physical exercise (this effect only occurs with an additional intake of 200 mg vitamin C).
• Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of blood vessels, bones and cartilage as well as skin and teeth.
• Vitamin C contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, to the normal function of the nervous system and to normal psychological function as well as to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
• Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the increase of iron absorption.
• Vitamin C contributes to the regeneration of the reduced form of vitamin E and helps protect cells from oxidative stress.
