L-Phenylalanine: important and essential amino acid
The essential amino acid L-Phenylalanine is a component of many
proteins in our body and can be converted in the liver into L-tyrosine.
L-Phenylalanine and L-tyrosine are both precursors for neurotransmitters, thyroid hormones and the skin pigment melanin.
A deficiency of L-Phenylalanine can be triggered by an unbalanced
diet or excessive stress.

What is L-Phenylalanine?
L-Phenylalanine is an amino acid that is essential (vital) for us, as our body cannot produce it itself. We must obtain it in sufficient amounts from our diet. L-Phenylalanine is a component of proteins and is therefore found predominantly in animal foods. Among plant foods, the content of L-Phenylalanine is particularly high in pumpkin seeds and dried soybeans. Natura Felix L-Phenylalanine can also be taken long-term without concern.
