Alkaline Vitamin C plus Magnesium
In magnesium ascorbate, ascorbic acid is bound to magnesium.
This buffers the ascorbic acid and makes it
better tolerated; the pH is neutral. It does not cause the
feeling of excess acidity in the stomach.
The body breaks the compound down into vitamin C (ascorbic acid) and
magnesium to supply these two essential substances to the
metabolism.
Most manufacturers use a form of magnesium ascorbate that tastes bitter. Podomedi has deliberately chosen a slightly more expensive but non-bitter-tasting form: magnesium L-ascorbate-2-hydrate.
Now in the more environmentally friendly pouch instead of the former large plastic jar!
