Particularly highly concentrated and high quality

Knotted wrack (Ascophyllum nodosum) is a type of seaweed and is one of the most mineral-rich foods worldwide. It grows from the seabed to the surface with its large brown fronds to capture sunlight. The brown alga is an excellent natural source of iodine and additionally contains many minerals, vitamins and trace elements. Because the naturally composed nutrients support each other in their absorption and effect, the bioavailability of iodine from the brown alga is better than that of pure iodine tablets.
The natural iodine comes from the renowned British company Seagreens® and contains a qualitatively convincing and highly concentrated knotted wrack extract (300 µg iodine). This allows the daily iodine requirement to be met very effectively and completely naturally.

Natura Felix Natural Iodine is very well tolerated because it contains no additives (not even the binder magnesium stearate). The cohesion of the tablets is ensured exclusively by natural substances such as microcrystalline cellulose. The tablets are suitable for allergy sufferers and vegans.

It is particularly important for the formation of the hormones triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4) in the thyroid. Together with thyrotropin from the pituitary gland they form the so-called pituitary-thyroid regulatory circuit, which regulates the concentration of the hormones in the blood plasma.
Thyroid hormones control the basal metabolic rate. They regulate the cardiovascular system, blood pressure, the cells' oxygen consumption, body temperature and digestion.

Iodine has an influence on our cognitive functions (logical thinking, memory, concentration) and contributes to normal growth in children.

Compensate iodine deficiency naturally

An adult daily dose of 200 micrograms is recommended. Pregnant women should take 230 µg and breastfeeding women 260 µg of iodine. Smokers also have an increased requirement.
Germany still belongs to the iodine-deficient areas. The southern federal states are particularly affected, where goitre (enlarged thyroid) as a sign of hypothyroidism is quite well known. For this reason, there are numerous products on the market with added iodine (e.g. iodised salt). If this type of iodine supply is not sufficient, for example with an increased requirement (smokers!) or an iodine-poor diet (vegans!), a dietary supplement with iodine can provide compensation. Preferably in a natural nutrient complex such as in knotted wrack rather than as a single substance.
