VegiPro pea, pumpkin and hemp protein, 1000 g powder

NATURA FELIX VegiPro: Soya-free protein powder, optimised to supplement a vegan diet.

People following a vegan lifestyle often find it difficult to obtain sufficient amounts of certain nutrients from their diet, as some of these are found only in small quantities, or not at all, in plant-based foods. These include, in particular, vitamin B12, taurine and the amino acids L-cysteine, L-carnitine and creatine, which are mainly found in animal-based foods.
It is not easy to replace animal-based nutrients with plant-based ones. This requires careful meal planning and the use of fresh ingredients. In everyday life, however, vegans often do not differ from meat-eaters. After a tiring day at work, they too reach for ‘vegan fast food’. A quickly prepared vegetable stir-fry, which loses many vitamins due to high heat, and a few nuts alone are not enough in the long run to meet specific nutritional requirements.
NATURA FELIX VegiPro is a soya-free protein powder that is specially tailored to the needs of vegans. Its ingredients can help to compensate for common nutrient deficiencies in a vegan diet.
It is also an excellent option for anyone who prefers a plant-based protein powder.

The special features of Natura Felix VegiPro:

  • Pea protein, pumpkin seed protein and hemp protein (three very good plant-based protein sources) without soya
  • contains 60% protein (60 g per 100 g)
  • high in BCAAs (branched-chain amino acids)
  • high content of L-tryptophan and L-lysine
  • bioactive vitamin B12 (essential for vegans)
  • vegan vitamin D3
  • Extra taurine, creatine and acetyl-L-carnitine (otherwise only found in animal products)
  • with MCT oil
  • neutral, creamy flavour (tastes slightly sweet and vanilla-like)

NATURA FELIX VegiPro offers an excellent plant-based protein powder containing all the essential amino acids

To ensure you get sufficient amino acids from plant-based proteins, you must always combine two or more types of protein. This makes their biological value similar to that of whey protein. The pea protein used contains plenty of L-lysine (like all pulses), but little L-methionine and L-cysteine. To compensate for this, we use organic pumpkin seed protein and hemp protein, which contain all the essential amino acids our body needs. We have deliberately chosen not to use low-cost soya.
Compared to other plant-based protein sources, VegiPro has a very high content of branched-chain amino acids such as leucine, isoleucine and valine. These BCAAs are abundant in hemp and pea protein. They are the only amino acids (similar to MCT oil derived from coconut oil) that are not processed by the liver but are immediately available as energy. This is particularly important for vegan athletes during strength and endurance training.
Pumpkin seed protein also contains a high amount of L-tryptophan and has an exceptionally high biological value of 137. This figure indicates how effectively our body can utilise proteins from a particular food source (for comparison: a chicken’s egg has a value of 100, and whey protein 103).

Furthermore, the VegiPro plant-based protein shake stands out for its many bioactive vitamins.

Essential vitamins and minerals for vegans to ensure an optimal basic intake

It is well known that vegans often have a vitamin B12 deficiency, which, amongst other things, causes problems with folate balance. VegiPro therefore contains easily absorbed vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin) and natural folate instead of synthetic folic acid. Vitamin B6 (as pyridoxine-5-phosphate) is very important for protein metabolism and helps the body utilise plant-based proteins.

As with non-vegans, an additional intake of vitamin D is particularly advisable in winter. As vitamin D2 from plant-based foods is poorly absorbed by the body, we use vegan vitamin D3 in our protein powder, which is utilised much more effectively .

To round off the range of nutrients, NATURA FELIX VegiPro also contains other essential vitamins and minerals for vegans. These include natural beta-carotene (a precursor to vitamin A) from a concentrate of the green algae Dunaliella salina and vitamin C from an acerola cherry extract.

Zinc and iron have been added because they are difficult to absorb from plant-based foods. To improve their absorption, zinc is bound to the amino acid L-methionine and iron (Core Chelate®) is bound to a bisglycinate. Calcium and magnesium are present in an ideal ratio of 3:1.

MCT oil (from coconut oil) aids the absorption of plant-based proteins and provides energy. It is absorbed directly into the bloodstream and converted into energy by our cells.

NATURA FELIX VegiPro tastes great and fills you up.

This plant-based protein blend can be used in many drinks and dishes without significantly affecting the taste (for example, in fruit juices, smoothies, shakes or even savoury dishes). Thanks to the coconut milk powder it contains, it’s always creamy, even when mixed with just water. For its neutral, slightly sweet flavour, we use only genuine vanilla flavouring and the natural sweetness of stevia.

Each serving contains just 147 calories (615 kJ), making VegiPro a good meal replacement in a low-calorie diet . Please make sure you drink enough (around 2–3 litres per day)!

VegiPro contains no added ingredients. However, our vegan protein powder is not suitable for people who are sensitive to pulses.

New packaging – better for the environment

The new stand-up pouch, made from a single material, is fully recyclable. This packaging saves on materials, which reduces CO₂ emissions during transport and production, as well as plastic waste, compared to conventional tins.

NATURA FELIX VegiPro is currently the only protein powder that has been specifically developed to meet the nutritional needs of vegans (manufacturer’s information as at 02.2026).

High-quality formulations from the Netherlands

Podo medi's products are significantly influenced by the naturopathic experience of its co-founder Wolfgang P. Schallmey. However, he has been retired since 2020, which is why the "Woscha" brand has become the "natura felix" brand. The tried-and-tested recipes will remain largely the same. In addition to the logo, the packaging of many products will change significantly. The company is increasingly switching from plastic to more environmentally friendly cardboard cans.
