For the bitter tonic, St. Helia uses bitter plants that grow in locations with particularly favourable energetic conditions in the remote mountains of the Caucasus and Switzerland. These wild plants, thriving in the harsh natural environment, are rich in valuable constituents and possess exceptional vitality. Traditionally hand-harvested – at the right time and in the right place – they represent the highest quality and practised sustainability.

Unique regulatory complex based on ancient secrets of Caucasian herbs

St. Helia’s herbal experts have developed a balanced regulatory complex for the bitter tonic based on centuries-old recipes, Caucasian herbal secrets and modern findings. The excellent formulation of palatable blossoms, seeds and herbs such as dandelion, centaury, fenugreek, yarrow, fennel seeds as well as acacia and mallow blossoms and rose petals is characterised by a harmonious balance – both in taste and in the interplay of the included herbs. The ideal balance was also found in the alcohol content: as little as possible, as much as necessary – for soothing enjoyment without excessive burden. The recommended daily dose (3 × 3 ml) contains 3.15 mg of alcohol, only marginally more alcohol than the permitted amount in one litre of apple juice.
