The German Nutrition Society recommends a daily intake of 30 g of fibre. However, according to the WHO (World Health Organisation), many people in industrialised countries do not meet the recommended fibre intake.
Fibre is very important for our wellbeing. It is well known that it stimulates digestion and thus promotes bowel movements. But there are further benefits. The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) considers it proven that dietary fibre slows down the absorption of carbohydrates (e.g. sugar) into the bloodstream, thereby helping to regulate blood sugar levels. It also keeps you feeling full for longer, which supports weight management. Furthermore, dietary fibre has a positive effect on serum cholesterol levels.
But dietary fibre has even more benefits: apple fibre, for example, contains phytochemicals such as flavonoids, which are a type of polyphenol. Potato extract contains antioxidants. Guar gum enhances the binding capacity of other dietary fibres. Gum arabic is highly water-soluble and has a thickening effect on liquids.
Dietary fibre is found primarily in cereal-based foods. However, many people cannot tolerate these due to gluten sensitivity or gluten intolerance. For them, Fasa Sana is the gentle alternative. The targeted use of dietary fibre is also recommended during detox programmes to trap toxins in the gut.

Recommended intake
Dissolve 1 level measuring spoon (6 g) daily in 1 glass of water or juice and drink quickly before a meal.
Ideally, combine with Kieselerde plus.
