The sunshine vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 menaquinone in optimal cooperation
Vitamin D3 and K2 work as a team, acting synergistically. They must be present in sufficient amounts to achieve optimal effect, especially in bone metabolism. Their interaction with calcium is also important, which is why this combination product is also very suitable as a supplement to calcium intake. Vitamin D promotes the incorporation of calcium into bone, while vitamin K prevents it from depositing in the arteries before it reaches the bone. St. Helia SuperVitamin D3 contains other valuable substances. Vitamin D3 is fat‑soluble and is therefore provided in a plant oil base for optimal absorption. The natural aromatic spice plant oils support the rapid uptake of vitamin D3. The included palm kernel oil contains the complete vitamin E family including tocotrienol. The ingredient sea buckthorn fruit pulp oil additionally supplies you with high‑quality carotenoids. Sea buckthorn fruit pulp oil contains about 20 times more carotenes than sea buckthorn oil and is one of the most valuable oils. Compared with conventional products that often contain only the single substance beta‑carotene, St. Helia guarantees natural diversity.
St. Helia Supervitamin K2 with bioactive menaquinone (MK‑7)
St. Helia vitamin K2 is vegan and has very high bioavailability. The menaquinone MK‑7 contained is a form of vitamin K2 that is particularly well absorbed by the body. This effect is further enhanced by the combination with vitamin A.
- 100% active, usable vitamin K2 (MK‑7)
- Also contains vitamin A in the form of carotene and vitamin E from tocopherols and tocotrienols.
- Only 3 drops daily, i.e. a supply for 3–4 months.
Trans‑isomers – why are they important? Even within menaquinone MK‑7 there are quality differences. The question is whether the ingredient used was MK with cis‑trans isomers or with all‑trans isomers. These isomers are molecules that differ in their double bonds — and thus in their biological activity.
- All‑trans isomers can activate the proteins osteocalcin and MGP as co‑factors.
- Cis‑trans isomers are biologically inactive. They cannot be utilised by the body.
St. Helia Supervitamin K2 contains exclusively the pure – biologically active – menaquinone MK‑7 in the high‑quality all‑trans form. Guaranteed vegan production, without animal ingredients. Both products are produced completely vegan, without the use of animal substances and are guaranteed GMO‑free.

Note from EnergyVital / Recommended intake
We merely reproduce here the manufacturer's recommended intake, as it is printed on the product in accordance with the law. We must present it in the shop 1:1, whether it makes professional sense or not.
This does not mean that vitamin D and K generally have to be taken in a 1:3 ratio when taken together!
To determine an individual dosage, several factors would be important. For example, the recommendation of your therapist or the question of how large any deficiency may be. This can also be determined by the GP with a test. If they refuse, for cost reasons or because they simply have no knowledge of the topic (which is often masked with the argument 'unnecessary' …), you can also use tests from Medivere yourself.
Also consider any other medications being taken. Those who need to take anticoagulants, such as coumarins or apixaban (e.g. Eliquis®), should definitely discuss taking vitamin K with their doctor, as vitamin K affects the action of these medicines!
A helpful hint may be the dosages of our products in which vitamin D3 and K2 are offered combined in one bottle or capsule. Manufacturers of course have a rationale for this, and we only offer manufacturers with very high professional competence. Brands whose management is staffed only with business graduates rather than naturopaths and nutritional therapists are generally not offered by us!
For example, Natur Vital, a company with very high therapeutic competence, specifies in its combination product a dosage of 25 µg of D and K each: Vitamin ADEK Oil, 30 ml. Applied to this product, that would mean that one drop each of St. Helia vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 would be recommended!
Podomedi, also a manufacturer led by a naturopath, recommends a vitamin D to K ratio of 1:2.

What is the weight or volume of a drop?
For oils and aqueous solutions in dropper bottles or those with pipettes, drops are a popular and practical way to indicate quantity. Unfortunately, in practice they are very imprecise.
Anyone who wants or needs to know precisely for dosing and planning their medicines or dietary supplements:
A drop of water is approximately 0.05 ml or 0.05 g (i.e. 50 mg).
Oil has a different density and a different dripping behaviour to water. Therefore:
A drop of oil is approximately 0.04 ml or 0.35 g (i.e. 35 mg).

35 mg.
