Recommended intake

For oils and aqueous solutions in dropper bottles or those with pipettes, drops are a popular and practical measure of quantity. Unfortunately, however, they are in practice very imprecise.
Anyone who wants or needs to know exactly for dosing and planning their medicines or dietary supplements:
A drop of water is approximately 0.05 ml or 0.05 g, i.e. 50 mg.
Oil has a different density and a different dripping behaviour to water. Therefore:
A drop of oil is approximately 0.04 ml or 0.35 g, i.e. 35 mg.
