Cholesterinformel Pro, 60 tablets

Formula for balancing blood lipid levels

Blood lipids are fats that are transported in the blood to their target tissues. They consist mainly of cholesterol and triglycerides. The term ‘cholesterol’ is derived from the Greek words cholè (‘bile’) and stereos (‘solid’). Cholesterol is an essential component of bile and plays a crucial role in the formation of cell membranes, various hormones and vitamin D. Triglycerides are involved in cellular energy production and form a protective layer of fat around the organs. Blood levels of all these blood lipids are strictly monitored to ensure they are neither too high nor too low.

People often talk about ‘good’ and ‘bad’ cholesterol. However, this does not refer to the cholesterol itself (as it only exists in one form), but to the transport particle (lipoprotein) in which the cholesterol is carried. Blood lipids are not soluble in blood, which is an aqueous substance. A transport particle is required to carry these substances. The outer layer of a lipoprotein consists of a coat of water-soluble proteins (apolipoproteins) and phospholipids. The particle contains cholesterol and triglycerides. The best-known lipoproteins are high-density lipoprotein (HDL) and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol. Lipid metabolism is a complex subject, but put simply, LDL cholesterol transports cholesterol from the liver to the body’s cells, whilst HDL cholesterol carries cholesterol back from the body’s cells to the liver. It is important for good health that the levels of the various blood lipids remain within the normal range. There are numerous options available for maintaining healthy cholesterol levels. A healthy lifestyle, including sufficient exercise and a healthy, varied diet, is crucial in this regard. A supplement can provide additional support.

Vitals, our new brand from 2025

We are constantly on the lookout for brands that represent our ideals: The highest quality, consistent omission of superfluous additives such as titanium dioxide or porcine gelatine, very good value for money and absolute reliability in delivery to us and therefore also to customers.
This is very difficult because such companies are extremely rare among the mass of manufacturers of food supplements that are now on the market. But we have managed to find them again, with Vitals from the Netherlands!

Manufacturer's address: Vitals Voedingssupplementen BV, Pieter Lieftinckweg 29, 1505 HX Zaandam, Netherlands. E-mail: customer service@vitals.eu.
