Magnesium in its elemental form
Contains CMD, a seawater concentrate from the Great Salt Lake in Utah, USA, which retains all minerals and trace elements in their entirety (with sodium almost entirely removed). The product is produced using a traditional and natural concentration process powered by solar energy. The seawater concentrate is naturally rich in magnesium.
The minerals and trace elements in elemental magnesium are present as electrolytes in dissolved and ionic form. This means they are not bound to other elements, but exist as individual electrically charged particles. When magnesium chloride (MgCl₂) is dissolved in water, it produces Mg²⁺ and Cl⁻ ions. Minerals are dissolved in our body’s intra- and extracellular fluids, such as blood plasma. Minerals in ionic form are easily absorbed.
Magnesium and its effects on health.
The body contains approximately 21 to 28 grams of magnesium. Less than 1 per cent circulates in the blood; approximately 20 per cent is found in the muscles, 20 per cent in other soft tissues and the liver, and around 60 per cent is stored in the bones and teeth. Magnesium is essential for strong bones, teeth and muscles. It is also involved in over 300 enzymatic processes. Magnesium is a key cofactor for enzymes involved in protein synthesis – the process by which proteins are produced based on DNA. A proper electrolyte balance is essential, as electrolytes act as cofactors for enzymes that maintain an electrical potential across cell membranes, which is crucial for the transmission of electrical impulses within cells, particularly nerve and muscle cells. Magnesium is vital for muscle function, including nerve conduction and muscle contraction, as well as for the heart muscle. Furthermore, a magnesium deficiency can cause fatigue. Magnesium can help you get back on your feet. It supports energy levels by releasing energy from fats, carbohydrates and protein. It is also vital for brain and nerve functions, which are responsible for concentration, memory and mood. It also aids normal cell division and the production of cells and tissues.

Vitals, our new brand from 2025
We are constantly on the lookout for brands that represent our ideals: The highest quality, consistent omission of superfluous additives such as titanium dioxide or porcine gelatine, very good value for money and absolute reliability in delivery to us and therefore also to customers.
This is very difficult because such companies are extremely rare among the mass of manufacturers of food supplements that are now on the market. But we have managed to find them again, with Vitals from the Netherlands!

35 mg.
