Chr. Hansen produces these bacterial strains and has carried out a significant portion of the research on these specific strains, including their current combination. This is unique and also of considerable importance! A bacterial strain (identified by a suffix such as LA-5) is not identical to another, even if they belong to the same genus (in this case Lactobacillus) and species (Lactobacillus acidophilus). That is why strain-specific research is particularly important.

Safety and easy administration

The demands on a probiotic intended for infants and toddlers are extremely high. Here, safety and uncomplicated administration are even more crucial than for products for adults. Clinical studies in humans have been conducted specifically for Bifidobacterium BB-12 to demonstrate the safety of this strain in young children. It was found that BB-12 in a product for infants and toddlers is completely safe and very well tolerated. In addition, taking the drops is extremely straightforward.

Quality and shelf life

Chr. Hansen's advanced production process ensures that the capsules retain a long shelf life outside the refrigerator when kept in the sealed packaging. This is, of course, very practical in everyday use and for retail. Vitals has also chosen dark violet (almost black) glass, which protects the contents from the effects of air, light and moisture. Furthermore, the packaging contains a moisture-absorbing sachet and is hermetically sealed with an airtight aluminium seal. This further ensures the viability of these bacterial strains.

On the name Microbiol

The name Microbiol is derived from the term “microbiome”. It refers to all the microorganisms that live in and on our bodies, such as the gut flora. These bacteria are part of our digestive system from birth. These include, for example, lactobacilli. Bacillus rhamnosus GG is also referred to as LGG.

Sunflower oil (Helianthus annuus), Bifidobacterium lactis, antioxidant (d-alpha-tocopherol).

Recommended use

Shake well before each use (30 seconds)**. Take 6 drops daily on a spoon or mixed with (lukewarm) milk or other foods. Contains approximately 100 drops (sufficient for approx. 16 days' use). The viable bacteria (Bifidobacterium lactis) in this product settle to the bottom. Therefore it is essential to shake the powder well before each use (30 seconds) to mix it as thoroughly as possible with the oil. It may also occur that some of the powder remains in the pipette and it no longer dispenses properly. A 30-second shake helps to redissolve the powder.

When using an antibiotic, it is recommended to wait at least 2 hours between taking Microbiol Kind and the antibiotic.

Storage instructions

Store closed and at room temperature (do not refrigerate). Use within 4 weeks after opening.
