Microbiol Kind Platinum is a liquid product with live bacteria, intended for newborns but also for all other age groups. The drops are easy to give to babies and toddlers, but are also useful for older children and adults. A daily amount of 6 drops contains up to 2 billion live bacteria of the well-known strains LGG and BB-12. These are dissolved in a base of sunflower oil that is high in oleic acid. This oil tastes neutral and naturally contains little omega-6 and a lot of omega-9, similar to olive oil.
LGG and BB-12: well researched and successfully trialled
Microbiol Kind Platinum is produced with the strains LGG and BB-12 from Novonesis (formerly Chr. Hansen). This company is known worldwide for its expertise in live bacteria in foods and dietary supplements. Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus GG, formerly known as Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, is the most extensively researched bacterial strain in the world, with over 2,500 scientific publications, including more than 300 human studies, including studies in infants and toddlers. Bifidobacterium BB-12 is the best-researched Bifidobacterium strain, with around 400 publications, of which 200 are human studies.
Bacterial strains such as LGG or BB-12 are unique, even if they belong to the same species and genus. Each bacterium has its own characteristics. Therefore, when buying a product you should ensure that there are studies on these exact strains or their combinations.
Safe and easy to use
If a product is intended for babies, it must be especially safe. LGG and BB-12 have been extensively tested for safety and good tolerability across all age groups. Studies show that these bacterial strains are very safe even for the smallest children. Being liquid, the drops are easy to dose, which is practical for any age.
About the name Microbiol
The name Microbiol comes from the word "microbiome". The microbiome comprises all the tiny organisms that exist in and on our bodies, for example in the gut.

Recommended intake
Shake well before use (30 seconds) to mix the powder as thoroughly as possible with the oil***. Children (from birth): take 6 drops per day on a teaspoon or mixed with (lukewarm) milk or other foods. Also suitable for older children and adults.
When using an antibiotic, it is recommended to wait at least 2 hours between taking Microbiol Kind and the antibiotic.
Storage instructions
Store closed and at room temperature (do not refrigerate). Use within 4 weeks after opening.
