Rhodiola – When things get stressful!

There are over 130 species within the plant genus Rhodiola. The best-known and most extensively studied species is Rhodiola rosea, also known as rose root, which is found, amongst other places, in cold Siberia. Rhodiola has been used for more than 2,000 years as a herbal remedy. Rhodiola has an adaptogenic effect. This means that Rhodiola can help to maintain stress resistance in stressful situations. It can also be helpful when you are feeling tired.  Rhodiola-LF from Vitals contains the high-quality extract Rhodiolife®, which comprises 5% rosavins and 1.8% salidroside, the main constituents of Rhodiola.
