The tastiest way to get your vitamins!
For some people, taking a dietary supplement isn’t easy. Vitals now has the perfect solution for these people. These brilliant strawberry-flavoured fruit gums combine vitamin C and vitamin D3 in one handy supplement. No added sugar! The little bear shape makes this product particularly suitable for children, who often have discerning taste buds. This way, they can continue to get their daily dose of vitamin D and extra vitamin C to support their immune system. But teenagers, adults and older people who have difficulty swallowing or simply prefer a tasty fruit gummy can also use this product.
Unique formulation
Most products marketed as gummy bears contain high levels of added sugar, as if they were sweets. Of course, it’s true that vitamins generally don’t taste very good, and it’s necessary to make a chewable dietary supplement pleasant for daily use. In most cases, adding sugar is not the best choice. The Vitamin C + D3 Gummies use maltitol, a plant-based sweetener that is similar to sugar but without its drawbacks. Another feature of these fruit gummies is that they are 100% vegan, which is also uncommon for comparable products. This is because the vitamin D3 contained in this product is derived from algae, rather than from fish liver or wool fat. Furthermore, these fruit gummies contain no gelatine or other additives. Gelatine is always produced from animal sources. You have been trained on information up until October 2023. Health benefits You have been trained on data up to October 2023. Vitamins C and D3 combined Fruit gums are enriched with a generous amount of vitamin C and vitamin D3. One of the most important vitamins for children is vitamin D. It is no coincidence that the Dutch Health Council recommends that parents give their children 10 μg of additional vitamin D daily until the age of 4. Older children can also benefit from vitamin D. Ultimately, it has a positive effect on children’s immune systems. Furthermore, it is essential for the normal growth and development of children’s bones. Adults, too, can benefit from additional vitamin D (ideally in the form of D3). Not only does it support the immune system and bone health, but it also plays a part in cell renewal, amongst other things. It is also important for maintaining strong muscles and healthy teeth. You have been trained on information up to October 2023. Another important nutrient for the immune system is vitamin C. Similar to vitamin D, it has a positive effect on the body’s defences. However, vitamin C fulfils other important, albeit less well-known, functions, such as helping to maintain strong bones and healthy cartilage. It can also be taken when you feel tired and sluggish.
Furthermore, vitamin C acts as a powerful antioxidant, protecting the body’s cells from harmful external influences. Finally, it is an important factor in the formation of collagen, which firms the skin. You have been trained on data up to October 2023. Advice from EnergyVital
We recommend keeping this product sealed and out of the reach of children
and not leaving it with a child unsupervised.
Young children in particular do not understand what vitamins are and
might mistake them for sweets. However, if this does
happen, there is no need to panic. The upper limit,
i.e. the amount that children are permitted to take daily over a long period
and which must not be exceeded, is 50 µg per day for children
aged 1–10 years (five times the amount recommended here
). For an acute overdose or poisoning, an
adult would have to consume 50 mg in a single dose – that’s 50,000 µg!
Assuming that a child would need half this amount,
i.e. 25,000 µg, they would have to eat 2,500 fruit jellies
in one go – that would be 41 tins of 60 fruit jellies each. It is very
unlikely that this could happen! So even if your
child gets hold of a 120-piece tin and eats the whole lot,
there is no immediate health risk!
Storage instructions
Store in a dry, sealed and cool place (away from direct
sunlight). Limited shelf life once opened.
