WOSCHA CTN 100 Powder: Creatine with no additives
Creatine is important for the normal functioning of the mitochondria, which act as the powerhouses of our cells. This nutrient plays a direct role in many metabolic processes, particularly in cells and organs with high energy requirements. The creatine contained in this product
- improves physical performance during explosive strength training during short-term intense physical activity*
- promotes muscle growth during intensive strength training**
- increases the effect of strength training on muscle strength**
- can, in combination with strength training, help to counteract the loss of muscle mass and strength**
* This beneficial effect occurs with a daily
intake of 3 g
of creatine
** In adults over 55 years of age, following at least
three strength training sessions per week over a period of
several weeks and a daily intake of 3 g of creatine
WOSCHA CTN 100 powder contains pure, unbound creatine of pharmaceutical grade
WOSCHA CTN 100 powder consists of 100%
unbound and anhydrous creatine. Compared to the
well-known creatine monohydrate, this means it contains up to 30
per cent more creatine!
Low-cost creatine powders often contain undesirable
substances. Such as the breakdown product creatinine or
substances harmful to health, such as mercury. Our product is
free from impurities, as it is manufactured to pharmaceutical standards
in
Germany.
WOSCHA CTN 100 powder is vegan and halal certified and contains
no additives. You therefore receive a completely pure
creatine powder that delivers optimal results.
At a recommended daily dose of 3 grams, creatine is well tolerated even when
taken over the long term.
Note: As creatine is not soluble in water, it may
flocculate in drinks. This does not affect its efficacy,
as
creatine dissolves in the stomach. If the powder settles at the bottom,
simply stir it again.
What exactly is creatine?
Our bodies can produce creatine themselves from the amino acids arginine, glycine and
methionine. However, this does not even cover half of the daily requirement of
around
5 grams of creatine. We are therefore
reliant on dietary supplementation.
Animal-based foods are the main source of creatine. It is also found in
meat, sausages, fish and seafood. Consequently, the
risk
of a creatine deficiency is particularly high for vegans and vegetarians, as well as for
people who only occasionally consume animal products.
Age also plays a significant role.Age also plays a significant role.
As their intake of the
amino acids necessary for creatine synthesis is no longer
sufficient, older people often suffer from a creatine deficiency.
Furthermore, energy conversion in the mitochondria
no longer
functions as efficiently as it did in youth.
What effects does creatine have on the body?
Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is a molecule that contains three
phosphate groups
. Our cells require the energy released when
a phosphate group is split off. In particular,
nerve cells
and our muscles (including the heart muscle) need a lot of
energy – and therefore a lot of ATP.
During intense physical exertion (such as when preparing
for
exams, under stress or during strenuous work or sport), such
a large amount of energy is required that our body can no longer
keep up. In these situations, creatine regenerates the ATP that has been
broken down into adenosine diphosphate (ADP) in a very short time.
To achieve this, a phosphate group is bound
to
the creatine within our cells. The resulting creatine phosphate (also
phosphocreatine) acts as an energy reserve, as it can
release its phosphate group in fractions of a second. This ensures
that
the energy supply remains uninterrupted, even when demand is high.
Where is creatine found?
Creatine, in the form of creatine phosphate, is primarily stored in the brain as well as in the skeletal muscles and the heart. For this reason, it is particularly popular amongst athletes.
Who is creatine suitable for?
It is recommended that an additional supplement of creatine be offered to anyone who has a high creatine requirement (competitive and amateur athletes, people with physically demanding jobs), does not consume sufficient creatine through their diet (vegetarians, vegans and older people) and those who are unable to utilise or produce creatine adequately (including older people and those with a genetic defect). Studies have shown a positive effect of creatine on general well-being in all these groups.

High-quality formulations from the Netherlands
Podo medi's products are significantly influenced by the naturopathic experience of its co-founder Wolfgang P. Schallmey. As a naturopath and expert in orthemolecular therapy, he created his own brand WOSCHA dietary supplements, which are based on years of experience and a holistic philosophy. In addition to high quality, effectiveness and good tolerability, WOSCHA products are characterised by a lack of additives, which are added in other preparations for cheaper production. WOSCHA products are made from fresh and genetically unmodified raw materials and are available in their purest form. In addition, podo medi pays attention to sustainable packaging and shipping. For example, the product cans are made of harmless PET and recyclable material. Woscha and natura felix are brands of Podomedi.
