L-carnitine is an amino acid found primarily in meat
In our bodies, L-carnitine is mainly found in the muscles . There, it is responsible for transporting long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondria. L-carnitine can be produced by the body itself from the amino acids lysine and methionine. When we find ourselves in stressful situations, the body requires particularly high levels of lysine and methionine. This, in turn, reduces the production of L-carnitine.
WOSCHA L-carnitine is characterised by its outstanding quality. It uses high-purityL-Carnipure® tartrate.
