L-lysine is one of the essential amino acids that we must obtain from our diet. It is found primarily in animal foods, but also in lentils and soybeans. L-lysine is a building block of many proteins, enzymes, messengers, hormones and transport molecules.
Vitamin C supports the development of our immune system. It is involved in the formation of bone, cartilage and connective tissue and protects our cells from oxidative stress.

WOSCHA L-Lysin Plus is high-strength and even more effective thanks to vitamin C and zinc.
Unlike other L-lysine preparations, WOSCHA L-Lysin Plus additionally contains vitamin C from the acerola cherry as well as zinc citrate.
L-lysine as monohydrochloride is easily absorbed by the body and is directly available to the body's metabolism. Since secondary plant compounds promote the uptake of vitamin C, we have added an extract from acerola alongside zinc citrate. Zinc citrate also supplies the body with zinc, which, like vitamin C, contributes to a normal immune system.
Our lysine preparation contains no additives. The capsule shell is made of cellulose, so it is also suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Why the combination of L-lysine, vitamin C and zinc?
L-lysine is an essential amino acid. It occurs almost exclusively in animal foods such as meat, fish, dairy products and eggs. It is scarcely present in plant foods. Therefore the risk of an L-lysine deficiency is increased in vegetarians and vegans. Together with L-methionine, L-lysine is important for the formation of L-carnitine.
Vitamin C, in turn, contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin, gums, teeth, bones, cartilage and blood vessels. It supports our immune system and also helps to protect cells from oxidative stress by scavenging aggressive free radicals.
Zinc is involved in cell division and DNA synthesis and contributes to the maintenance of normal skin. It can also protect cells from free radicals and is important for the normal function of our immune system.
WOSCHA Lysin Plus is an especially pure, well-tolerated preparation that ensures the daily supply of L-lysine.
