Pure L-tyrosine with no additives
L-tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid, which
means that it can be produced by the body itself. As a
building block for the production of hormones and neurotransmitters,
it plays an important role, for example, in the production of
thyroid hormone, dopamine and (nor-)adrenaline. L-tyrosine is
proteinogenic and is therefore found predominantly in proteins and only rarely
in its free form.
L-tyrosine is also very popular in competitive sport and amongst people with high
performance aspirations. Its excellent
tolerability also makes it ideally
suited to people with sensitive systems.
