Multivitamins without iodine, iron and copper for people with metabolic disorders
People who suffer from intolerances or metabolic disorders have difficulty finding a suitable multivitamin for themselves. WOSCHA Multi Minus was developed specifically for these groups of people: it contains no iodine, iron or copper!
The excellent quality of the ingredients is especially beneficial for people who cannot utilise certain vitamins and minerals in their usual form, or only inadequately.
Quality matters!
Many vitamins are usually taken in the form of precursors, which the body then has to laboriously convert into the actually active form. There are some metabolic disorders or genetic peculiarities that can cause someone to have problems converting certain compounds.
One example would be folic acid:
Today it is common for pregnant women to be prescribed folic acid by their doctor. This is intended as a preventative measure against spina bifida in the child. What most women and unfortunately many doctors do not know: approx. 50% of people are unable to convert simple folate into the active form. Thus these people, or their children, have no protection!
Alternative: Really good folic acid preparations today contain 5MTHF instead of primitive folic acid. The raw material is certainly somewhat more expensive, but it offers 100% protection and not just 50%!
The situation is similar with minerals. For example, many minerals must first be converted into citrates. This takes place in the stomach with the help of stomach acid. People without stomach acid (e.g. when taking acid blockers because of a stomach ulcer) cannot convert these substances and consequently cannot absorb them!
This list could be continued at great length, but that would go beyond this product description. What is important for our customers is only this: In Woscha Multi Minus the qualitatively optimal form of each vitamin or mineral is used, which also provides optimal benefit to people with certain metabolic disorders or limitations!

Essential, but not always appropriate!
There are also metabolic disorders in which certain substances must not be taken under any circumstances.
For example, in an iron storage disease it is forbidden to take iron. In certain thyroid disorders, taking iodine only disrupts the system further. And with the widespread metabolic disorder HPU one must not take up copper.
