Niacin (Vitamin B3) with excellent tolerability
Niacin, also known as vitamin B3, is present in most of our cells. The body can synthesise niacin itself from the amino acid tryptophan. However, excessive alcohol consumption, an unhealthy diet or burns/injuries can lead to a niacin deficiency. In these cases in particular, care should be taken to ensure adequate supply.
WOSCHA Niacin flush free is characterised by its very good tolerability. By using the vitamin B3 form inositol hexanicotinate, niacin is released in a delayed manner and thus prevents the so‑called flush effect. The flush effect occurs mainly with pure niacin, which acts as a vasodilator and can therefore lead to skin redness and sensations of heat. The added vitamin B6 not only increases bioavailability but is also essential for the synthesis of tryptophan to niacin. The zinc contained is also responsible for optimized bioavailability.
