The vitaminoids choline and inositol
Choline and inositol are both needed for the formation of lecithin, the building material of our cell membranes. Therefore they are found throughout our body.
Choline is one of the few substances that can readily cross the blood–brain barrier. It can reach the nerve cells in the brain. In addition, choline promotes the production of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine when required.
