Spermidine is found in the body’s cells of all living organisms
It is a molecule that was first discovered in sperm cells and thus got its name. Spermidine can be produced as a by-product of the conversion of L-arginine and L-ornithine, but it can also be obtained through the diet. Spermidine is found in particular in mature cheeses such as Cheddar, in mushrooms and in soya beans. The highest concentration is found in wheat germ. For this reason, high-quality, concentrated wheat germ extract has been added to WOSCHA Spermidine.
Instead of soya beans, WOSCHA Spermidin contains sunflower lecithin, thereby avoiding the allergenic potential of soya. Lecithin also contributes the substance choline to the preparation; this is essential, for example, for the formation of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. Thanks to its powder form, WOSCHA Spermidin can be easily taken with juices, muesli, smoothies or even soups.
WOSCHA Spermidine is a particularly good companion during demanding periods, periods of high physical exertion or as we get older.
