Spermidine is found in the body cells of all living organisms
It is a molecule that was first discovered in sperm cells and thus received its name. Spermidine can on the one hand be formed as a product of the conversion of L-arginine and L-ornithine, but it can also be obtained from the diet. Spermidine is particularly present in mature cheeses such as Cheddar, in mushrooms or soybeans. The highest concentration is found in wheat germ. Therefore, WOSCHA Spermidine has been supplemented with a high-quality, concentrated wheat germ extract.
Instead of soybeans, WOSCHA Spermidine contains lecithin from sunflower. This avoids the allergenic potential of soy. Lecithin also contributes the compound choline to the preparation; this is, for example, essential for the formation of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. Because it is in powder form, WOSCHA Spermidine can be easily taken with juices, mueslis, smoothies or soups.
WOSCHA Spermidine is a good companion, particularly during demanding phases, during periods of high physical strain, or with advancing age.
