Taurine – for the synthesis of all amino acids
Taurine belongs to the group of amino sulfonic acids, a sulphur-containing compound predominantly found in animal foods. It is not a "true" amino acid, but is required for the synthesis of all amino acids. Taurine has recently attracted a lot of attention, particularly in the energy drink market.
