Taurine – for the production of all amino acids
Taurine belongs to the group of aminosulphonic acids, a sulphur-containing compound found predominantly in animal-based foods. It is not a ‘true’ amino acid, but is required for the production of all amino acids. Taurine has recently attracted a great deal of attention, particularly in the energy drinks market.
