Vitamin B12 in active form
Vitamin B12 (cobalamin) was only discovered in 1948. It is a very complex, large molecule and is required for the development of all the body's cells. Nerve cells in particular suffer from a deficiency. The best-selling B12 is the synthetic cyanocobalamin. Although effective, it is not optimal because it must first be converted for absorption. In this process the not entirely harmless cyanide compound (better known as hydrocyanic acid) is released. Methylcobalamin is the form required by the body and is absorbed much better without conversion.
WOSCHA Vitamin B12 is therefore already in the active form and can be absorbed optimally. Administration as a lozenge is not only pleasant due to the orange flavour, but the long residence time in the mouth additionally increases absorption through the oral mucosa.
