Vitamin C with natural excipients to meet increased requirements

Pure vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is not absorbed very well by the body. Citrus bioflavonoids and rosehip have therefore been added to improve absorption. The bioflavonoids contain 50% hesperidin, a plant compound that helps vitamin C protect cells. It also contains natural vitamin C from rosehip.

1000 mg of ascorbic acid is the perfect daily amount if you have a high requirement or wish to increase your intake. This is ideal for a quick boost of vitamin C and also for long-term support when your needs are generally higher (such as during physical exertion, smoking, constant stress or when taking the contraceptive pill).
If only natural vitamin C, for example from acerola, were used, it would be very expensive. Adding bioflavonoids and natural vitamin C to L-ascorbic acid ensures that the body absorbs it more effectively than if you were to take only pure ascorbic acid.

The vitamin C tablets in WOSCHA Vitamin C-1000 contain no binders such as magnesium stearate, nor any other additives. They are therefore suitable for people who follow a vegetarian or vegan diet.

• Vitamin C contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system and increases iron absorption.
• Vitamin C contributes to the regeneration of the reduced form of vitamin E and helps to protect cells from oxidative stress.
