Vitamin C plus natural absorption enhancers

Vitamin C in the form of isolated ascorbic acid has only low bioavailability. Citrus bioflavonoids and rosehip have therefore been added to improve absorption. 50% of the bioflavonoids consist of hesperetin, a phytochemical that supports vitamin C in protecting cells. It also contains natural vitamin C from rosehip.

500 mg of ascorbic acid corresponds to the ideal daily dose if you wish to increase your intake. Suitable both for a quick extra boost of vitamin C and for long-term supplementation in cases of generally increased requirements (physical exertion, smoking, constant stress, oral contraceptives).
If it contained only natural vitamin C, e.g. from acerola, it would be very expensive. Enriching L-ascorbic acid with natural vitamin C and bioflavonoids ensures that it is absorbed by the body more naturally than if one were to take ascorbic acid in isolation.

Nutritional properties

• Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system during and after intense physical activity (this effect only occurs with an additional intake of 200 mg of vitamin C).
• Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of blood vessels, bones and cartilage, as well as skin and teeth.
• Vitamin C contributes to normal energy metabolism; vitamin C contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system and to normal psychological function, as well as to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
• Vitamin C contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system and increases iron absorption.
• Vitamin C contributes to the regeneration of the reduced form of vitamin E and helps to protect cells from oxidative stress.
