- Glucosamine is a natural amino sugar of the human body. It is a component of connective tissue, cartilage and synovial fluid.
- Chondroitin sulphate is a component of cartilage that ensures its elasticity and acts as a shock absorber for the joints.
- Dimethyl sulfone (MSM) is an organic sulphur-containing compound that is regarded as biologically active sulphur.
- Collagen contributes to the formation of type II joint cartilage.

Hydrolysed collagen: Higher bioavailability
After ingestion, the large collagen molecules must be broken down by our body through a complex enzymatic process into peptides with lower molecular weight so that they can be utilised by the body. For this reason, Cartilage already contains short-chain collagen molecules. To increase the bioavailability of the large collagen molecules and to ensure that they are absorbed by the body and can exert their effect, they have been broken down by an enzymatic hydrolysis process into peptides with low molecular weight (long-chain molecules were split into short-chain molecules). With this process, the body can assimilate over 90% of these short-chain collagens.
