High-quality algae oil with omega-3 fatty acids and turmeric
Omega 3 Orange (without vitamin D) combines high-quality algae oil
with sacha inchi oil and turmeric – with no added vitamin D.
Ideal for anyone who is already taking a separate vitamin D supplement
or who wishes to regulate their vitamin D levels individually or
monitor them closely – for medical reasons, for example. It
provides 1645 mg of omega-3 fatty acids per daily dose and is
perfect for active people, sports enthusiasts and anyone who simply
wants to live a healthier life.
Key features:
- No added vitamin D: Ideal for people who already
have a separate source of vitamin D, or for those who
deliberately control their vitamin D intake or have it
monitored by a doctor.
- Top-quality as per official testing: 1645 mg of omega-3 fatty acids per daily dose (5 ml) – for the brain, heart and eyesight.
- Premium algae oil: Plant-based source, mild orange flavour, innovative blend of medicinal herbs.
- Ideally balanced: Sacha Inchi oil offers a near- perfect 1:1 ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acids.
- Anti-drip cap: For clean and hassle-free dosing.
- Listed on the Kölner Liste®: For maximum safety and
transparency in sport – ideal for professional and amateur athletes.
The contents are sufficient for a course of at least one
month.
Omega 3 Orange without D is suitable if you …
- wish to support basic bodily functions.
- wish to optimise their omega-3 fatty acid balance.
- are looking for a healthy, environmentally friendly and animal-friendly alternative to fish oil.
- wish to support the immune system and the body’s defences.
- are looking for a comprehensive daily dietary supplement for the whole family.
Omega-3 Orange combines high-quality oil from
Schizochytrium algae, Sacha Inchi oil from the Inca nut, turmeric
and vitamin E in a carefully formulated blend.
In addition, the innovative medicinal herb complex (18 herbs) offers
numerous health-promoting properties. The
formula contains plenty of omega-3 fatty acids, with particularly high levels of DHA and EPA.
These are directly utilised by the human body
and support normal brain function,
vision and heart function. They also protect cells from
oxidative stress and strengthen the immune system.
Particularly suitable as a daily supplement for all family members,
for children and adults who do not have an adequate intake of
omega-3 fatty acids.
Omega 3 Orange contains Sacha Inchi oil, but no
hemp seed oil. It is therefore ideal for athletes
of all performance levels.
The optimal source of omega-3
Until now, eating fish or taking fish oil has been
regarded as the ideal natural source of omega-3 fatty acids
for humans. This is an apparent contradiction,
given that most fish derive their high
omega-3 content from their diet – algae. Algae oil
is a vegetable oil extracted directly from algae
. It is one of the most effective natural
sources of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA).
These are polyunsaturated fatty acids from the
extremely valuable omega-3 fatty acid group. Algae oil is the
obvious environmentally and animal-friendly alternative to fish oil
– not just for vegetarians and vegans.
Turmeric and omega-3 fatty acids
Turmeric, also known as
Indian saffron or the golden spice, belongs to the ginger family. The
turmeric plant has tuber-like, underground rhizomes
(rootstocks). Its characteristic yellow colour is due to
substances known as curcuminoids. These are secondary
plant compounds extracted from the rhizomes. Turmeric
is now the subject of much scientific
research, as it possesses numerous beneficial properties.
A recognised scientific study from Iran demonstrates,
for example, the health benefits of a daily
combination of turmeric and omega-3 fatty acids.***
Genuine lemon oil – straight from Sicily
Omega 3 Orange contains high-quality lemon oil from Sicily:
- Messina lemons from Sicily – sun-ripened & particularly aromatic .
- 100% natural: no artificial flavourings, just pure lemon essential oil
- Cold-pressed for maximum freshness and nutrients
- Invigorating & refreshing: Promotes concentration and mental clarity
- Mood-lifting and refreshing, combats stress and boosts motivation and drive
Details on the ingredients
- Schizochytrium algae are single-celled microalgae found in tropical waters. They naturally produce large quantities of omega-3 fatty acids, particularly DHA and EPA. DHA and EPA can be utilised directly by the human body . In contrast to α-linolenic acid, which must first be converted into these two fatty acids and, in doing so, competes with the omega-6 fatty acid linoleic acid.
- Sacha Inchi, also known as the Inca nut, is an extraordinary plant. Its almost perfectly balanced ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acids of nearly 1:1 makes it a source of one of the finest oils in the world. The Sacha Inchi oil has the highest content of polyunsaturated fatty acids and is particularly rich in alpha-linolenic acid, a plant-based omega-3 fatty acid. It also contains a large amount of vitamin E and other antioxidants that protect against oxidative stress.
- Turmeric is a spice that is produced from the intensely yellow rhizome of the Curcuma plant . Its characteristic colour is due to the curcuminoids . Owing to its many beneficial properties, turmeric is now the subject of intensive research.
- Rapeseed oil: Compared to sunflower and olive oil (omega-6/omega-3 ratio: 282:1 and 10:1 respectively), rapeseed oil is an excellent source of omega-3 with an outstanding ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 (1.7:1). It can be sourced locally and is characterised by its particular sustainability . Rapeseed oil contains vitamin E, an important antioxidant found in all human cell membranes. It protects the omega fatty acids from being destroyed by free radicals. It is therefore not surprising that it is also ideally suited as a complementary feeding oil for babies. Rapeseed oil contains alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), a plant-based source of omega-3 fatty acids that is important for health.
- Vitamin E: It protects omega-3 fatty acids from oxidation and thus contributes to their anti-inflammatory effect by reducing harmful oxidative stress. This synergy is of particular importance for heart health, as omega-3 improves blood lipid levels and vitamin E prevents the deposition of oxidised fats in the blood vessels. Together, they contribute to the stability of cell membranes and increase bioavailability in the body, which further enhances their effectiveness .
- Omega 3 Orange contains a medicinal herb complex ,
which
comprises 18 plant extracts known for their
health-promoting properties. This offers
a valuable added benefit. Herbs such as angelica,
greater burdock and wild thyme, which have been carefully selected,
are traditionally valued for their properties. The same applies
to horsetail, which contains many minerals and benefits the skin,
hair and connective tissue. Chicory
is also traditionally used.
