High-quality linseed oil – naturally and gently obtained
Natura Felix Omega 3-6-9 uses cold-pressed linseed oil. The gentle processing preserves the valuable constituents of the linseed oil in their natural composition.
Linseed oil is among the plant oils with the highest content of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA). In addition, it contains linoleic acid (LA), an omega‑6 fatty acid, as well as oleic acid (omega‑9).
Vitamin E also occurs naturally in linseed oil. It helps to protect the cells from oxidative stress.
Omega‑3 from a plant source
The contained omega‑3 fatty acid alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) helps to maintain normal blood cholesterol levels. Thus, Natura Felix Omega 3-6-9 is a convenient plant-based source of ALA and a sensible addition to a balanced diet.
Note: ALA can be converted by the body into the omega‑3 fatty acids EPA and DHA, however only to a limited extent. EPA and DHA occur naturally mainly in oily fish.
