St. Helia’s Wild Yams Forte supports the specific needs of women aged 40 and over. Each serving contains 800 mg of extract from the highly potent Dioscorea opposita yam root. Diosgenin, which occurs naturally in yam root, supports the body’s own production of DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone). In combination with the body’s own hormone, progesterone, diosgenin plays an important role in balancing oestrogen and testosterone.
