OPC, natural phytochemicals from the group of polyphenols

Oligomeric proanthocyanidins are found, amongst other things, in grapes, berries and certain types of tree bark, and are a natural component of many plants.

Grape seeds are considered a particularly rich source. Whilst the flesh of the grape contains only small amounts of OPC, the valuable polyphenols are concentrated mainly in the seeds. For this reason, high-quality OPC extracts are specifically extracted from grape seeds.

In plants, polyphenols perform a natural protective function. Their content is influenced by factors such as sunlight exposure, climate and degree of ripeness. Grapes from sun-drenched growing regions therefore often have a particularly high polyphenol content.

The quality of an OPC extract is not determined solely by the stated OPC content. Equally important are a high total polyphenol content, the origin of the raw material and gentle processing. High-quality extracts are characterised by transparent labelling and a consistently high purity.

With the growing interest in high-quality plant extracts, the focus today is particularly on the origin, quality and concentration of the raw materials used.

100% French grape seed extract

Only grape seed extract from French grapes is used. For many years, France has been one of the leading countries of origin for high-quality grape seed raw materials with a consistently high polyphenol content.

At least 200 mg OPC per capsule

Each capsule contains at least200 mg OPCwith atotal polyphenol content of 95 per cent. The dosage is clearly stated and is based on a high-quality grape seed extract.

Pure formula – no unnecessary additives

The formula consists exclusively of grape seed extract and a vegetable capsule shell. Fillers, anti-caking agents, magnesium stearate and other unnecessary additives are deliberately avoided.

Vegan HPMC capsules

The capsule shell is made from hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) and is entirely plant-based. It is gelatine-free and suitable for a vegan diet.

The grape seed extract is processed in Germany under controlled conditions. The focus is on purity, meticulous quality controls and transparent labelling.

Recommended intake

We recommend taking 2 capsules daily with sufficient liquid. Take OPC in the morning, if possible, on an empty stomach. If you have a sensitive stomach, OPC can be taken with vegetables or fruit. You should avoid taking it at the same time as protein-rich foods such as eggs, cheese or meat.

Storage instructions

Store in a cool, dry place away from light (not in the fridge).
