As Vitamin C is essential, we must obtain it from our diet. For example from vitamin-rich fruit and vegetables such as kiwis, oranges, lemons, peppers or various types of cabbage. Unfortunately, our body cannot store the water-soluble vitamin C. Therefore it can sometimes be difficult to ensure daily vitamin C intake, especially when requirements are increased due to infections, physical exertion, stress, alcohol, nicotine or the contraceptive pill.

Calcium ascorbate is a compound of calcium with Vitamin C. It is considerably more stomach-friendly than pure ascorbic acid because the acid is buffered and thereby neutralised. At the same time the body is supplied with calcium, which is needed for the formation of bones.
Acerola and rose hip provide a high proportion of natural Vitamin C and—together with the citrus bioflavonoids—improve the absorption of calcium ascorbate. 80% of the bioflavonoids consist of hesperidin, a secondary plant compound.
WOSCHA C-complex powder can be easily dosed individually and is suitable for both children and adults. It contains no additives, is vegan and is an ideal form of administration for people with swallowing difficulties.
