Vitamin D – the ‘sunshine vitamin’
Vitamin D3 is also known as the ‘sunshine vitamin’ because it requires the sun’s UV-B rays to be produced. However, vitamin D3 can also be obtained through diet. It is found in particular in oily fish such as salmon or herring. If you spend too little time outdoors during the winter months, or if you follow a vegetarian or vegan diet, your body’s production of vitamin D3 may decrease. Natura Felix Vitamin D3 10,000 IU – High-dose and additive-free
D3 is the natural form of vitamin D and can therefore be utilised optimally by the body. IU stands for the international unit of measurement and indicates the concentration level. Thanks to its high dosage, just one capsule a week is enough!
As vitamin D is fat-soluble, the body can store this high single dose and use it up over the course of the week.
