Natural yeasts & lactic acid cultures – 10 billion factors for success
Following the example of the cult drink Soma, Lebenstrank relies on a blend of the finest natural microorganisms. In every single-serve sachet, around 10 billion of them are waiting to come to life.
- Natural yeasts from ‘vinegar-free’ kombucha, water kefir and carefully selected yeast cultures – straight from nature
- Viable bifidobacteria and lactic acid bacteria (Bifidobacterium lactis, Lactobacillus acidophilus), which form part of our gut’s natural flora
What sets our product apart from conventional kefir and kombucha drinks is that almost all of our lactic acid cultures reach the gut alive, having passed through the stomach. The same applies to the natural yeasts, which work hand in hand with beneficial gut bacteria to break down sugar in the gut that serves as food for unwanted yeasts.
Soluble fibre – acacia gum & inulin
This elixir of life is rounded off by valuable soluble fibre, which is rarely found in our diet and perfectly complements the insoluble fibre from vegetables and grains: precious gum arabic, extracted from acacia sap, and inulin from chicory root.

Ingredients
Gum arabic*, inulin**, kefir and kombucha cultures, Bifidobacterium lactis, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Saccharomyces cerevisiae spec., Saccharomyces boulardii.

Recommended intake
Pour the contents of one sachet into a wide-necked bottle together with one litre of organic fruit juice (e.g. apple, apple-mango or grape juice), cover (do not screw the lid on!) and leave to ferment at room temperature for 2–3 days as per the instructions (ideally at 20–25 °C, protected from direct sunlight in an amber glass bottle). The result is a delicious, tangy fermented drink.
Enjoy a glass (around 200 ml) a day with a meal or as a snack!
For beginners, we recommend starting with a small amount (50 ml) of the fermented drink immediately after preparation and gradually increasing this to 200 ml per day, so that your gut can adjust at its own pace.
Storage
Store exclusively in the fridge. You’ll find the best-before date on the bottom of the packaging. After the fermentation process (at the latest when it starts to fizz), please keep it in the fridge (6 °C) and consume within 4 to 5 days.
